Janina Julia Szubiak

The daughter of Wincenty Aleksander Szubiak and Józefa née Pilecka, the wife of Aleksander Gołębiewski, born around 1900.

She lived with Aleksander Gołębiewski in Chicago, where she gave birth to two daughters: Zofia (in 1919) and Jadwiga (in 1920). Soon afterwards, she returned to Poland and settled down in Lublin. There, Janina and Aleksander’s third child, Stefan Jan was born. The parents got married in the Saint Peter’s Parish in Lublin on 1 June 1927.
