Anna Henryka Goldszmit

Henryk Goldszmit’s cousin

The daughter of Jakub Goldszmit and Gitla Warman, born on 6 January 1873 in Lublin; died in 1883 in Warsaw.

She was born at the time her father studied law in St. Petersburg. Already in her early childhood, she had poor health. She spent considerable time in health resorts, one of which was located near Włocławek. Her father dedicated to her a fragment of his work entitled “Z księgi legend” (From the Book of Legends), published in Kalendarz Domowo-Gospodarski (Home and Garden Almanac) in 1882. The dedication said, “To my beloved Andziulka, in memory of better times.” Anna Henryka died at the age of 10.
